SPJRD editors and a student from the AB English Language Program participated in a collaborative teaching session at UiTM Puncak Perdana, Malaysia, thereby highlighting Indigenous and Bangsamoro philosophy, culture, and literature. During the session, scholarly lectures, research-based publications, and a student documentary were presented, collectively showcasing Indigenous languages, cultural archives, Bangsamoro literary expressions, disaster-related Indigenous knowledge, and the lived experiences of a Tausug community. Ultimately, the engagement underscored the importance of amplifying Indigenous and Bangsamoro voices, while preserving cultural memory and fostering inclusive, culturally grounded, and decolonized knowledge that transcends borders.

Prof. Sajed S. Ingilan of the Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (SPJRD) discussed the responsibility of publishing in documenting local knowledge, languages, and histories, particularly from Sulu and Mindanao.
