As the Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (SPJRD) pursues dissemination of its publication releases, the Publication Board extended the latest print copies of the September 2023 issue, the SPJRD Volume 28, No 1, in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) on October 18-20, 2023.
The research journal of the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) made a momentous effort to circulate the latest knowledge and insights in research publications published by the University. The physical copies were added to the learning resources of certain research centers of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Peace and Research Organizations in BARMM.
On October 18, 2023, SPJRD guaranteed complimentary copies to the esteemed Institute of Bangsamoro Studies. The issue shares a study encompassing a prominent historical figure within the Tausug cultural milieu, making it a valuable addition to the resources available at the institute's library and for purposes of learning.
Furthermore, several prints were circulated to HEIs on the following day, including the Learning Center and the Research and Publication Center of Notre Dame University, to promote the dissemination of knowledge and encourage scholarly exploration. SPJRD also distributed hardcopies to the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) and the Office of Parliament Member Hon. Nurredha I. Misuari to share with them the determined efforts of the university for inclusivity by means of publications.
While the Publication Board and Staff engaged in a resource speakership engagement for a seminar-workshop at the Cotabato State University (CotSU), print copies were additionally dispensed to the university's Office of the Research Programs. University President Dr. Sema G. Dilna and Research Director Norkaina C. Samama facilitated receiving journals, promising to be an invaluable resource for their professionals and an inspiration towards striving in research.
The distribution effort aligns with the Publication Unit's ongoing commitment to increase the visibility of SPJRD and foster collaborations. The SPJRD team remains enthusiastic about this distribution's impact on the region's academic and research landscape, furthering the pursuit of novel knowledge and innovation. The journal will continue to be a cornerstone in supporting the development and growth of academic and research communities.
