Two published articles in the Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development, Vol. 25, Issue 1, released in March 2020, were cited in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals this year.
The paper "Physico-Chemical Characteristics of Soils under Cacao Production System in Davao de Oro, Philippines," authored by Nelvin A. Villason and Dernie T. Olguera from the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences, was cited in Biodiversitas, Vol. 23, Issue 7, 2022, in the article "Review: Types of socioecological production landscapes of the Philippines based on dominant biodiversity: status, problems and future directions" by Inocencio E. Buot, Jr., and Anne Frances V. Buhay, published by the Biology Department, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta, Indonesia.
On the other hand, the paper of Engr. Sheila Cogay, Engr. Ireneo P. Amplayo, Engr. Roland R. Bayron, and Engr. Ruben V. Cantones, also from CARS, titled "GIS-Based Land Suitability Analysis for Solar Powered Irrigation System in Non-Irrigated Rice Production Areas of Davao Del Norte," shared a similar feat through the journal, Sustainability, Vol. 14, Issue 11, published in 2022 by the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI), Switzerland.
Cogay et al.'s (2020) co-authored work was cited in the "Socio-Economic and Environmental Analyses of Solar Irrigation Systems for Sustainable Agricultural Production," authored by Charmaine Samala Guno and Casper Boongaling Agaton.
The articles which cited the works of the mentioned USeP faculty members were published in journals indexed in Elsevier-Scopus and Clarivate-Web of Science, which the University highly regarded as the prescribed indexing bodies for research publication of journals.
