Call for Participation!

For the Third Session in 2022, the Publication Unit will hold the Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (SPJRD) Talks this coming September 09, 2022, from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm, via Zoom.

 

This scholarly forum features "Cultural Studies and Its Theoretical Tools: Suggestions for Doing' 'Useful' Research," by Dr. Sue Shore, a Professor from the College of Indigenous Futures Education and Arts at Charles Darwin University, Australia, as one of the Resource Speakers. She is also one of the international advisers of SPJRD, our University's official research journal.

 

Further, Mr. Virgel S. Torremocha and Mr. Francis N. Reginio, faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences, will share the presentation on "Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management of Selected IP Groups in the Davao Region." Mr. Torremocha is the Chair of the CAS Language and Literature Department; meanwhile, Mr. Reginio is the Deputy Director of the Office of the Project Development and Linkages.
