Ateneo Zamboanga-Mindanao Institute | We are deeply grateful to the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Institute of Languages and Creative Arts Director, Prof Francis N Reginio, and Bangsamoro History and Culture Project Leader, Prof Sajed S Ingilan, who are also Southeastern Philippines Journal of Research and Development (SPJRD) Managing Editor and Editor in Chief respectively, for their donation of two copies of the Panumtuman: Anthology of 21st Century Bangsamoro Literature Edited by Gutierrez Mangansakan II and one copy of the SPJRD Volume 8, No 2 - September 2023.
We thank the editor and project team for their generous acknowledgement of AZMI’s contributions to the CHED-funded project. We are happy to support and complement efforts to revitalize Mindanao writing and knowledge production.
We invite our writers and researchers to engage in the discursive creation and recreation as well as the critical interrogation of Mindanao through more peer-reviewed publications such as research and creative work.
Beyond documentation, work like this supports intercultural and interfaith dialogue by providing a forum for close reading of each other’s realities and by inviting compassionate discussion of our differences. This anthology includes literary work in poetry, fiction, and essay from 33 writers from the Bangsamoro. They make great additions to our AZMI collections.
